As well as seeking ongoing
funding for Headway Oxfordshire services, we are specifically
seeking funds at this time towards a Minibus.
Transport which would enable more people with an
Acquired Brain Injury to access the services and facilities at the
Oxford centre.
Cream Tea and Cakes Extravaganza - Friday 24 June
2011
Headway Oxfordshire are delighted to hold a Cream Tea and
Cake Extravaganza in the grounds of Headway at 4 Bagley Wood Road,
Kennington, Oxford. Come along anytime between 1.00 and 4.00
p.m. and enjoy cream tea, scones and cakes home baked by staff,
volunteers and Headway members - in return for a small donation to
Headway. Thanks to our volunteer, Erin Hawkins, for arranging

London to Paris Cycle Ride - 6 July 2011
Thanks to James Livermore, neuro-surgeon trainee at the JR
Hospital, who is undertaking the London to Paris Cycle Ride in

Charity Dinner - Friday 22nd July 2011
A Murd
er Mystery Charity Dinner will be held at the Oxford
Spires Four Pillars Hotel, Abingdon Road, Oxford at 7.00 p.m. on
Friday 22 July 2011. During a 3-course dinner you will be
presented with a chilling Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery to discuss
and solve with others. The evening promises intrigue
and great fun! Various prizes will be awarded throughout the

Snowdonian Marathon - 29 October 2011
Thanks to James Pearce of Charlbury, who is undertaking the
Snowdonian Marathon in support of Headway Oxfordshire. James
underwent extensive brain surgery in January 2011, but has now
returned to work as a taxi-driver. Always a keen runner, and
member of his local running club, Jim has completed the Snowdonian
Marathon five times before. Having now regained his former
stamina, we thank him for his support of Headway Oxfordshire, and
