A life worth saving needs to be a life worth living

In Oxfordshire approximately 9,000 people arrive in hospital every year with a brain injury. Some make a speedy recovery and continue their lives as before. For others progress is slower. Every year Headway Oxford helps over 200 people in their quest to regain lost skills.

We began our work with people with brain injury 20 years ago. We now provide direct support to 30 people a week in our Day Centre and assist over 200 families each year to get the best possible help for their loved ones. Our Community Support Workers meet with families at all stages from accident or illness to full recovery. Our Vocational Worker helps in the process back to employment.  With your help, however, we could reach many more people – especially younger folk who are at the greatest risk of sustaining a head injury. A gift or legacy in your Will could pave the way to a smoother future for someone with brain injury in Oxfordshire.
